Research Ethics Consultation Service

The research ethics consultation service helps investigators address ethical issues throughout the research process. Consultations are separate and distinct from the routine guidance that the Research Integrity and Consultation Program provides researchers. In general, consultations involve novel research issues that include complex ethical considerations. While the goal of each consultation is unique, providing a forum for deliberative exploration can help to achieve sustainable outcomes for researchers. The consultation process provides an opportunity to connect the requester with subject matter experts who can assist in the decision-making process.
