Pathogen Safety Data Sheets
Download and save a copy of all Pathogen Safety Data Sheet (PSDS) files applicable to your lab.
You will need to review the file(s), check the applicable information, and upload a copy of the completed file(s) into your Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) Protocol.
All files are listed alphabetically.
The files are a version of PDF which can only be opened and used in Acrobat. Due to updates in various browsers, your default settings may not be set to automatically use Acrobat to open these files from the internet. If you are taken to a page with a message stating “please wait”, download the form and use Acrobat Pro or Acrobat Reader to open and complete the form.
If a PSDS is not listed for the agent you are using, please complete a template and upload the template as part of your IBC protocol submission. Before starting a new template, you may also contact the IBC Program Office (ibc@vt.edu), to ask whether a draft version is available for a specific agent.
