Training for personnel who are engaging in export controlled (ITAR, EAR) restricted research projects that require a Technology Control Plan. This training is targeted at project specific requirements for safeguarding export controlled research and the security protocols that must be followed.

Additionally, anyone seeking a general export control and sanctions training may attend the first half of the restricted research training session. This portion of the session provides personnel with an overview of the applicable regulations and areas of potential intersection within an academic environment.

**When registering for a session, you will be asked to provide your location during the day/time of the session you plan to attend. For maximum flexibility, we can offer Zoom capability for individuals not located in Blacksburg during the training session.**

All sessions will be held in the North End Center (NEC), 300 Turner Street NW.
