REDCap Access Instructions
For Virginia Tech Employees, Graduate Teaching Assistants and Graduate Research Assistants
In order for employees, Graduate Teaching Assistants and/or Graduate Research Assistants to obtain access to REDCap, complete the following items:
- Complete the Virginia Tech IT Security Awareness Training. This option is available only to Virginia Tech employees, many of whom have already completed it. If you’re unsure whether you’ve taken the training, use the link to log into PageUp and check your completed trainings.
- Complete the REDCap User Agreement.
For Students
In order for Virginia Tech Students to obtain access to REDCap, complete the following items:
- Complete Research Security Training. Your completion of this training meets the federal requirement for a 12-month period, after which you will be required to take Research Security Refresher Training if you wish to continue accessing Virginia Tech REDCap.
- Complete the REDCap User Agreement.
