Thanksgiving Holiday

Virginia Tech will be closed Nov. 26–28 and will reopen Dec. 1.

All proposals due during this period must be submitted to the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) and ready for submission by 9 a.m. on Nov. 24. Colleges or departments may set earlier internal deadlines.

Winter Break

The university will also be closed Dec. 24, 2025–Jan. 1, 2026, and will reopen Jan. 2.

Proposals due during this time must be submitted to OSP and ready for submission by 9 a.m. on Dec. 22. Advance arrangements with OSP management must be made by Dec. 19 if this deadline cannot be met.
