Research Building 1311 Hotel Space

Research Building 1311 includes an OESRC-managed space with access controlled offices and cubicles designated for use by projects subject to Technology Control Plans—referred to as the CUI Hotel Space.  Faculty members with restricted research may use the 1311 Hotel Request Form  to request one or more single-occupancy offices.  With approval of at least one office, approved project personnel will have access to the designated offices as well as NIST 800-171 compliant desktops in the cubicle areas.  These cubicle desktops are included with the request for an office and are available for use on a first-come, first-serve and as-available basis. 

Faculty may request space for a minimum of three (3) months with no maximum so long as the space is being used for restricted research and the faculty or department reimburses the Office of Research and Innovation for the cost of the space.  Information on cost and reimbursement process is outlined in the request form.  If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to or call 540-232-8573.
