The mission of the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation Information Technology Team (OVPRI-IT) is to maintain and improve the computing infrastructure of OVPRI, associated sub-departments, and selected research institutes.
For assistance with IT related problems (computers, phone, networking, etc) please feel free to contact the IT team in any of the following ways:
- ServiceNow Ticket: At the 4Help website (https://4help.vt.edu) please click on the Login link at the top right hand corner and after logging in submit a ticket by clicking the Get Help link. This will generate a ServiceNow ticket that should go to all members of the IT Team.
- Email: Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. This will generate a ServiceNow ticket automatically and all members of the IT team will be notified.
- Phone: A ServiceNow ticket or email sent to email@example.com are the preferred means of contacting the IT team as every member will be notified of an issue.
