Responsibilities

As a coordinator for the Research Conflict of Interest program, Ben’s responsibilities include reviewing disclosures and awarded sponsored projects for financial conflicts of interest as well as helping implement management plans to promote objectivity when needed.

Background

Ben comes to Virginia Tech from West Virginia University, where he served as a research technology compliance analyst. Before this, he served as a graduate student employee in West Virginia University’s Office of Human Research Protections.

Education

Ben earned his B.S. in political science from Concord University and his Master of Public Administration from West Virginia University.
