Responsibilities
Lynn Chandler joined the Animal Care and Use Program in 2025 as a senior administrative specialist and was promoted to protocol coordinator in 2026.
Background
Chandler is a long time Virginia Tech employee, starting her career as an animal care technician/animal team lead and later as a research assistant. She comes to the Animal Care and Use Program from X. J. Meng’s lab where she served as the lab manager. During her tenure with the lab, she was awarded the prestigious President’s Award of Excellence.
Education
Chandler earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Virginia Tech.
