Responsibilities
Sandra Bryan Burks serves as the senior division director of human resources for the Office of Research and Innovation. She also is a member of the senior management team of Virginia Tech’s Division of Human Resources.
Background
Prior to joining Virginia Tech, Burks served as the executive director of human resources for the Roanoke City Public Schools. Her experience includes human resources, grant management, program administration, and marketing.
Education
Burks earned a masters of education from the University of Virginia and has completed an additional 35 hours of post graduate coursework in leadership.
