Research Development Series: Elevating Research Through Media Relations

Unlocking the potential of research and maximizing its impact on a broader audience requires effective communication planning and training. In this Research Development series seminar, learn how you can partner with the Virginia Tech Media Relations Team to elevate your research and your expertise. This session teaches how to amplify research discoveries, develop interview skills, and showcase your work to a wider (non-scientific) audience. Discuss best practices for interview preparation and creating talking points that will help you develop a clear, substantive, conversational, and media-friendly message.

Elevate your research success, from discovery to published peer-reviewed papers, by taking advantage of the power of the media relations team.

This seminar is offered both in-person and virtually.
