Research Education & Administrative Compliance
The Office of Research Education and Administrative Compliance provides research education and university-wide oversight for administrative compliance to support the university in its commitment to growth in federal, state, and industrial research and other sponsored activities. The office manages implementation of programs to address federal compliance regulations and mandates in the areas of conflict of interest, responsible conduct of research, export controls, export sanctions, and national security.
Some mission thrusts are primarily focused on university research activities, such as our research education program and responsible conduct of research compliance.
Conflict of interest and export controls and secure research areas have a university-wide scope that covers responsibilities and application beyond just the research mission.
