Proposals sought for connection to 10-Gbps research network VT-Rnet
Faculty members are invited to submit proposals for 10-gigabit-per-second connections to the VT-Rnet pilot network, intended to support research and instructional activities.
This second phase of the pilot network has a rolling submission date but it is recommended that proposals be submitted as soon as possible. All Virginia Tech faculty members on the Blacksburg campus and at other locations served directly by Network Infrastructure & Services are eligible to submit proposals.
VT-Rnet is a joint collaboration between Network Infrastructure & Services and Advanced Research Computing within Virginia Tech’s Division of Information Technology.
For more information about VT-Rnet and details about how to submit a proposal, see www.arc.vt.edu/vt-rnet.
