New Postdoc Orientation

New Postdoc Orientation seeks to provide an overview of resources and opportunities available to postdoctoral associates at Virginia Tech and allow postdocs time to meet other new postdocs and map out a plan for their career and professional development while at the institution.

It is highly encouraged that postdocs hired in the past three months to attend a relevant session and come ready to engage and connect with the postdoctoral and research community at Virginia Tech.

This event is in addition to New Employee Benefits Orientation, which should still be completed in a timely manner to understand employment benefits and responsibilities.  

The next New Postdoc Orientation session will be held on Friday, December 9, on the Blacksburg Campus at North End Center Training Room 2420, 1-3:30 PM. 

A Virginia-Tech wide postdoc community gathering immediately follows orientation allowing for broader networking and engagement, ending at 5 PM.
