Proposal Assistance Group

The Proposal Assistance Group is available to assist principal investigators and project managers on large proposals.  

1. Meet with the principal investigator or project manager to outline the key elements of the proposal from the perspective of the requesting agency.
2. For limited submissions, will prepare a one-page outline of critical success factors that is provided as part of the application process.
3. Assist an assigned project manager or principal investigator with any available support in managing the project submission workflow. Assist with required resources: e.g. technical writing, editorial assistance, graphics production, administrative support.
4. Coordinate review teams as requested at the appropriate time in the proposal process.
5. Serve as a liaison with OSP budget preparation and proposal submission planning efforts.
6. Provide editorial and responsiveness reviews as late as one week prior to submission, usually upon referral from OSP (departments and colleges ensure scientific review).
7. As requested, assist in post-review of unsuccessful grant applications.
