Please note:

• This mailing list is for distribution only (i.e. it is a bulletin rather than a forum). Messages that you send to this account will not be posted to the list, but sent to the list administrator.

   

• This list is restricted to members of the Virginia Tech research community. Requests from other institutions to join the list will be denied.

To SUBSCRIBE to the Opportunity Update notification list:

Send an e-mail message to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.VT.EDU

Leave the subject line blank.

In the body of the message, on one line, type:

subscribe opportunityupdate firstname lastname

for example:

subscribe opportunityupdate John Doe

Do not send a signature with your message. "subscribe opportunityupdate Your Name" should be the only contents in the message body.

Send an e-mail message to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.VT.EDU

Leave the subject line blank.

In the body of the message, on one line, type:

signoff opportunityupdate

Do not send a signature with your message. "signoff opportunityupdate" should be the only contents in the message body.

For VT students, faculty and staff who are not using a valid VT email, you can request that a copy of the weekly Opportunity Update be sent to you as an html file attached to an e-mail on a weekly basis. If you have a valid VT email address, please subscribe to the listserv rather than requesting an attachment. Send an e-mail to rgsrdwebmaster-resc@exchange.vt.edu ONLY if you meet the requirements and would like to receive the OU as an attachment. You must give your full name and indicate your association with Virgnia Tech. Do not send email to the rgsrdwebmaster-resc account asking to be added to the listserv. The listserv is self-service, please see the instructions above.
